The Oppo Find X10 and the iPhone 18 Pro are both smaller flagships, but they reach the top by very different routes.
The Find X10 is the standard model in Oppo’s latest flagship line. It is the Find X10 Pro in all but name. You get a new LTPO display, a reworked triple camera, and a huge battery, all in a body that is easy to hold.
The iPhone 18 Pro has no single headline feature. It offers a set of smaller improvements instead. These include a variable-aperture camera, the A20 Pro chip, and much better battery life. Together, they make it a more complete phone.

So which one deserves your money? We reviewed both the Find X10 and the iPhone 18 Pro, and here is which one comes out ahead.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Pricing and availability
The two phones sit close together on price. The Oppo Find X10 costs £1099 in the UK and comes with 256GB of storage as standard. You can pre-order it now, and it releases in November.
The iPhone 18 Pro costs a bit more at £1199/$1199. It also starts at 256GB of storage, and it has been on sale since its September release.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Design
The Find X10 looks a lot like the Find X9. It has flat aluminium edges, flat glass on the front and back, and rounded corners. The iPhone 18 Pro follows the 17 Pro’s blueprint closely, with an aluminium chassis, gently rounded edges, and a camera plateau across the upper back.

Oppo refreshed the camera island. The square camera hump now sits inside a larger rectangular island that ramps smoothly up from the back. In the new Glow Coral finish, it looks delightful.

Apple’s recessed panel under the cameras now blends in more subtly, which is an improvement. The colors are more subdued, led by Burgundy alongside Silver, Glacier, and a true, deep Black.
In the hand, the two feel very close. The Find X10 weighs 216g and is 8.35mm thick. The iPhone weighs 211g and is 8.75mm thick. That makes it about 5g heavier than the 17 Pro, but we would gladly carry a little extra weight for the added battery life.
Both are durable. The Find X10 has a dual IP68 and IP69 rating and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The iPhone is rated IP68 and uses Ceramic Shield 2, which is tough enough that you can skip a screen protector.
The buttons are where they differ. Oppo’s Snap Key is frustratingly limited, because you cannot set it to launch an app of your choice. It is nowhere near as flexible as the iPhone’s Action button, which we find far more handy.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Screens
The Find X10’s 6.6-inch screen is seriously impressive, mainly because the bezels are under 1mm thick on every side.
The panel is now LTPO, so the refresh rate adjusts in small steps to save battery. You do not get the stutter that used to appear when a screen jumps between rates, and it reaches 144Hz in supported games. Oppo’s color tuning leans natural and realistic, which is a welcome change after years of hyperreal Android displays.

The iPhone 18 Pro has a 6.3-inch 120Hz ProMotion OLED. The only change this year is a slightly smaller Dynamic Island, and it is so small that you will barely notice it in daily use.
It is still one of the best screens on any phone. The colors are lush, which makes streaming, gaming, and browsing your camera roll a pleasure. The size works well too. We can use it one-handed without straining a thumb.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Performance
This is where the iPhone pulls well ahead. In Geekbench 7, the A20 Pro scored 4019 single-core and 11218 multi-core. The Find X10’s Dimensity 9600M managed 2702 and 7990. The graphics gap is even wider, with the iPhone at 62,693 and the Oppo at 18,205. The iPhone also leads in AI performance, 9167 against 3727.
The iPhone keeps that speed up, too. It runs games for longer and stays cooler than the 17 Pro, and we could not find a single task that bothered the chip.
The Find X10 reached around 40fps in graphics tests, which is not far from the top-performing phones. It struggled in the stress test, though, with a stability score of just 37.9%.

We suspect the huge battery leaves little room for cooling. Even so, the phone has more than enough power for almost anything. We played Destiny: Rising for 15 to 20 minutes and saw no stuttering or lag.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Cameras
Both phones have triple rear cameras, but they build them differently. The Find X10 pairs a 200MP main camera with a 50MP ultrawide and a 200MP telephoto at 2.8x zoom. The iPhone 18 Pro uses three 48MP sensors: a variable-aperture main camera, a 120-degree ultrawide, and a 4x telephoto.
Oppo’s 2.8x zoom is a slightly odd choice, because it barely goes beyond the main camera’s sharp 2x crop. The larger sensor still delivers strong shots past 5.6x, though.

Results are clean and consistent across all three Oppo lenses. Master Mode gives more lifelike photos with far less AI processing. At night, Oppo shows admirable restraint and keeps scenes close to what we saw with our own eyes. The ultrawide is a little fuzzier and darker than the other two.
The iPhone’s big upgrade is a mechanical aperture on the main camera that switches between f/1.48 and f/4.0. We love the idea, but the real-world payoff is small. New manual controls for shutter speed, white balance, and focus are a bonus. Annoyingly, Camera Control cannot reach any of them.
The iPhone’s photos look true to life, with warmer color and convincing texture. Its night shots use shorter exposures and look closer to the real scene.

Video is where the two phones differ most. The Find X10 can shoot 8K, or 4K at 120fps, and it offers Open Gate in pro mode. Even so, the iPhone is still the best phone for video. Nothing else records footage that looks as smooth, sharp, and attractive.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Software
There is an ironic twist here. The Find X10 runs ColorOS 17 on Android 17, and it borrows heavily from Apple, from the liquid glass-like settings tiles to the camera’s color style picker. It is still one of the best phones for customisation, even though widget sizing remains fiddly.
The iPhone 18 Pro runs iOS 27. The headline addition is the new Siri AI, which is the version of Apple Intelligence we should have had all along. It understands what is on your screen and gives much more accurate answers. A new slider also lets you adjust how see-through Liquid Glass looks.

Long-term support favors Apple. Oppo promises only five OS upgrades and six years of security patches. The iPhone 11 is still supported by iOS 27, so you can expect many years of updates.
Oppo Find X10 vs iPhone 18 Pro Battery life
The Find X10 has the clear edge on battery. We tested the global model with its 8,000mAh cell, and it comfortably lasted to the end of a second day. Keep in mind that the European model has a smaller 7,150mAh battery.
The iPhone 18 Pro is the best standard Pro iPhone for endurance in years, and it gets close to the 17 Pro Max. You can easily get through a full day of harder use, and lighter users can stretch into a second day.

Both phones charge quickly. The Find X10 reached 50% in 30 minutes and a full charge in 70 minutes, which is impressive for such a big battery. In our test, the iPhone hit 50% in 25 minutes and 100% in 62 minutes, making it the fastest-charging iPhone yet. It keeps MagSafe too, although wireless charging is much slower.
Final thoughts
The Oppo Find X10 fits a huge battery, a superb LTPO display with tiny bezels, and a versatile triple camera into a body that is easy to hold. It is not perfect. Games cannot hold peak performance for long, the Snap Key is limited, and the software borrows heavily from iOS. At £1,099, it is still a proper flagship.
The iPhone 18 Pro is more of an “S” upgrade than a revolution, but it remains an easy recommendation. The camera is great in all conditions, battery life is better than ever, and performance is far ahead of Android rivals.
If you want two-day battery life and a superb display for less money, buy the Find X10. If you want the best performance, the best video recording, and long-term software support, go for the iPhone 18 Pro.
