The Pixel 11 Pro Fold sits at the top of Google’s lineup price-wise, starting at $1999 for the 256GB model.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold With Two Displays

Let’s start with the obvious part. The Pixel 11 Pro is a standard single-screen phone, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold opens up into a book-style design with two displays.

Its outer screen actually beats the Pixel 11 Pro’s on size, coming in at 6.5 inches versus 6.3 inches. The shape differs too; the Fold’s external display runs a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, while the Pixel 11 Pro sticks with a more standard 20:9.

Materials differ as well: the Pixel 11 Pro uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the Fold gets what Google calls an “ultra-durable ceramic cover glass.” Both screens do share one thing, though: Google says each one hits a peak brightness of 3600 nits, its brightest ever on a Pixel.

Open the Fold up, and you get an 8-inch internal display. It matches the outer screen’s peak brightness at 3600 nits and also supports HDR. Google also redesigned the hinge for this generation, claiming it’s both stronger and lighter than what shipped on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. We’ll hold judgment on that until we get a full review in.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Battery Life

Google has never built its Pixel phones around massive batteries, and the 11 series doesn’t break that trend. The Pixel 11 Pro edges out the Fold here, packing a 4850mAh cell rated for over 30 hours of battery life. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs slightly smaller at 4806mAh, good for around 24 hours between charges.

Beyond that, both phones match up: 30W wired fast charging, plus Qi2.2 certification for wireless charging up to 25W on either one.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Cameras

Both phones come with three rear cameras, but the actual hardware splits between them. The Pixel 11 Pro gets what Google calls a Pro camera system: a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP 5x telephoto lens. It also supports zoom up to 120x and shoots 8K video.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold runs a different setup, labeled Advanced: 48MP main, 10.5MP ultrawide, and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens. It doesn’t reach 120x zoom, but it does climb up to 30x through Super Zoom.

Selfies differ too. The Pixel 11 Pro has one 42MP front camera. The Fold has two, both 10MP, one built into the outer display and the other tucked inside on the main screen.

Neither phone has gone through our full review process yet, so we can’t speak to real-world photo quality firsthand. That said, Pixel phones tend to land on our best camera phone lists fairly reliably, and Google is calling the Pixel 11 Pro’s camera its best yet, which sets expectations high going in.

Every phone in the Pixel 11 lineup runs on Google’s Tensor G6 chip, tying the whole series together on that front. True to previous Tensor chips, this one prioritizes AI capability over raw benchmark numbers, and it’s what powers Google’s full AI toolkit.

That toolkit is honestly one of the strongest reasons to choose a Pixel in the first place, covering everything from the photo editing features mentioned earlier to everyday tools like Circle to Search and the Gemini voice assistant.

Google says Tensor G6 speeds up web browsing and app launches compared to the previous chip, and claims on-device AI tasks now run up to 3.5 times faster. We’ll update this comparison once we’ve had a chance to put the chip through proper testing.

Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro Fold Have IP68 ratings

An IP68 rating, meaning the phone resists dust entirely and can survive being submerged in water, is pretty standard on smartphones these days. What’s not standard is finding that same rating on a foldable, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is one of the few in that category to pull it off.

The build goes further than that too. It’s constructed with multi-alloy steel and an aerospace-grade, high-strength aluminum alloy cover, while the back gets a satin-finish frame made from spacecraft-grade aluminum. We haven’t put it through a full review yet, but on paper, this sounds like one of the tougher foldables out there.

Pixel 11 Pro vs Pixel 11 Pro Fold Verdict

Deciding between these two really comes down to how you actually want to use a phone. If you want a bigger screen for watching videos, gaming, or getting light work done on the go. The foldable form factor pulls you toward the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

If foldables don’t appeal to you and you would rather stick with a standard phone that still brings a strong camera setup, longer battery life, and the same AI features, the Pixel 11 Pro is the easy call.
