Smart ring buyers have usually had to choose a side. Either you got a ring focused on serious health tracking, or one built mainly for tap-to-pay convenience, but never both in the same device.
Circular says that trade-off is over, with the Ring 3 Pro and Ring 3 Slim, announced at IFA 2026. According to the company, these are the first smart rings on the market to combine both features into one ring.
Circular Ring 3 Pro combines health features and tap-to-pay
The Ring 3 Pro is the most feature-packed ring Circular has made so far. It includes an FDA-cleared ECG for detecting AFib, blood pressure trend tracking, glucose tracking, and detailed sleep analysis, on top of NFC payments that work with both Visa and Mastercard.
Circular is also bringing back haptic vibrations, a feature from its original ring, so you get silent wake-up alarms, medication reminders, and health alerts you can feel on your finger without pulling out your phone.
Battery life nearly doubles compared to the previous model, now landing around 12 days, and the ring itself is built from titanium with water resistance rated to 50 meters.

That said, cuffless blood pressure tracking is still a hard problem, one that few companies have managed to solve reliably so far. So it’s worth keeping an eye on how accurate Circular’s claims turn out to be once independent testing starts.
Circular Ring 3 Slim Features
For anyone who wants something more stripped down, the Ring 3 Slim still covers NFC payments along with sleep, heart rate, HRV, SpO2, skin temperature, and activity tracking.
What it drops is the ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and haptic vibrations that come with the Pro. In return, it’s noticeably thinner, weighs about half as much, and gets around 10 days of battery life.

Both rings share the same titanium build, support wireless charging, and come in sizes 6 through 14. Everything syncs to Circular’s updated Kira app, which uses AI to turn your tracked data into insights that build up over time.
That said, Circular’s software hasn’t always gotten great reviews. One of our writers previously called the earlier Ring Slim one of the worst smart rings he’d tested. Pricing and release date haven’t been confirmed yet, but Circular is aiming for both rings to launch sometime in early 2027.
