Natura Interface Smart Ring Lets You Control AI Agents

Most smart rings count your steps and stop there. Natura’s new Interface ring does more. It costs $99 and tracks your heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, activity, steps, and skin temperature.

It also works as a remote for AI. You press a finger against the ring to give commands to AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT via TechCrunch.

What Natura’s Smart Ring Can Do

Most smart rings lock you into one assistant. The Interface ring does not. It connects to several AI agents, including Meta’s Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, Claude, and ChatGPT.

You can split work between them based on what each does best. Ask Claude to write code, Instinct to book a reservation, and Grokbot to handle another task. Natura’s interface smart ring will do all these for you without opening an app.

Founder Carlo Edoardo Ferraris told TechCrunch the ring works because you never take it off. You can shower with it and sleep in it. That means you can log a run, check your schedule, reorder shampoo mid-shower, or turn off the TV before bed. You can also record a meeting and ask an agent to send the notes to a coworker.

The ring also controls other devices, including computers. Natura believes voice commands could replace many screen tasks, such as filling out forms, finding files, sending messages, and building presentations.

Replies reach you through connected headphones, an iPhone Live Activity, or the NatureOS app.

Interface Smart Ring Health Tracking Features

Natura wants Interface to sit between two kinds of wearables: health rings and AI gadgets. On the health side, it tracks your heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep stages, daily movement, steps, and skin temperature over time. That puts it up against health-focused rings like Oura and Samsung’s Galaxy Ring.

Battery life lasts 6 to 12 days, depending on how you use it. A full charge takes 100 minutes.

Pre-orders open next month, and shipping should start in December or January. The $99 launch price will go up later, so early buyers get the lower rate.

The service is free for the first three to six months. After that, Natura plans to charge $9 per month.
