Static slides often fall flat when your presentation needs more life. Anthropic has added two new tools to Claude to help with that: Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion. Both launch in beta today.

Claude Dashboards turns raw company data into live visuals that you can view and update. Claude Motion turns a static idea and turns it into a short animated explainer.

How does Claude Dashboards work?

You can connect Claude Dashboards straight to your company’s data. It works with Databricks, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, ClickHouse, and CRMs like Salesforce. Once it’s linked, you ask a question in plain language. You don’t write any SQL.

Claude Dashboards

Claude finds the answer and builds a dashboard around it. As new data arrives, the dashboard refreshes on its own.

Anthropic built Claude Dashboard for fast, open-ended questions. For example, you can compare this week’s signups with last month’s, and it does not aim to replace dedicated BI tools.

Every number on the dashboard is traceable. Click one, and you see the exact query that produced it.

When a question needs deeper analysis, you can send the dashboard straight to other tools. Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, and Sigma work today. Looker, Perplexity, and Tableau support is coming soon. Claude Dashboards are available on paid plans only.

How does Claude Motion work?

Claude Motion turns information into short animations. You can hand Claude a quarterly report, or a single chart from a board deck, and it builds a short animation that plays like a video.

It does not generate real video footage or synthetic people. Claude writes code that animates text, charts, shapes, and images. Every word, number, and timing detail stays editable after Claude finishes. When you are done, you can export the result as an MP4. You can also send it to tools like Adobe, Canva, Runway, or Luma AI for more work.

Claude Motion is limited to Team and Enterprise plans for now. Anthropic also moved Claude Docs, Slides, and Design out of beta alongside these launches. All three are now available on every plan, including Free accounts.
