After running a crowdfunding campaign, ONEXPLAYER is now selling the device straight from its own online store. The base model starts at $2,499. Load it up with 64GB of RAM, a 2TB SSD, and the optional Frost Bay liquid cooling system, and the price jumps to $3,229. Shipping starts in August.

Under the hood, you’re looking at AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 388 chip. That’s 8 Zen 5 CPU cores, 16 threads, and Radeon 8060S graphics built on the RDNA 3.5 architecture. There’s also an XDNA 2 NPU rated at 50 TOPS, and when you add everything together, the platform hits up to 118 TOPS of combined AI performance.

The rest of the specs don’t hold back either. You can pick between 48GB or 64GB of LPDDR5X memory, and storage tops out at 2TB on a PCIe Gen4 SSD. The screen is an 8.8-inch OLED panel running 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, VRR support, and a peak brightness ONEXPLAYER claims hits 1,100 nits.
Power comes from an 85Wh battery, and the device ships with detachable controllers and a magnetic keyboard. That combo turns it into a 3-in-1 setup, so you can use it as a handheld, or snap on the keyboard and treat it like a small Windows PC.
There’s also a Frost Bay liquid-cooled version, available for a bit more money. It comes with an external cooling dock built to help the Ryzen chip hold onto its full 120W TDP during heavy gaming or AI tasks. ONEXPLAYER says this keeps performance steady for longer stretches than plain air cooling can manage.

None of this comes cheap, though. The base 48GB/1TB model runs $2,499, and the step-up versions land between $2,799 and $3,079. Add the Frost Bay cooling dock to the top 64GB/2TB configuration, and you’re at $3,229, which puts it near the top of the price list for gaming handhelds right now.
