Nothing built its name on phones, earbuds, and accessories that look different from everything else on the shelf. The company may now be heading into a new category: smart glasses.

Roland Quandt shared the details on Bluesky. He says Nothing is working on two types of smart glasses. The first would focus on audio, so you could listen to music and take calls.
The second could add a built-in camera, ChatGPT integration, and translation features. Nothing has not confirmed either product. The leak does give you an early look at what the company may be planning.
Nothing’s Smart Glasses could replace your earbuds
Nothing’s first pair of smart glasses will reportedly center on audio. You could play music, take calls, and use your phone’s voice assistant. If you want to listen to a playlist or answer a quick call on a walk, you would not need earbuds or your phone in hand.

The glasses are also expected to use photochromic lenses. These darken in sunlight and clear up indoors, so you would not have to swap between regular glasses and sunglasses during the day.
This model does not appear to have a camera. That could suit you if you want glasses that handle music, calls, and a few everyday tasks without extra features.
Nothing’s Smart Glasses could bring ChatGPT into the picture
The second pair sounds more ambitious. Quandt says it would do everything the audio model does and add a built-in camera, ChatGPT integration, and translation support. The leak gives little detail on the camera, but it could let you capture photos and videos without taking out your phone.

Nobody knows yet how Nothing would build in ChatGPT or what you could do with it. Translation could help when you travel or talk with someone who speaks another language. It is unclear whether the glasses would translate in real time or how the feature would work.
For now, you have few facts about these glasses. Design, pricing, and availability are all unknown. We also do not know when Nothing plans to unveil them, or if they reach the market at all.
Nothing has a history of experimenting with distinctive designs, so these are worth watching. With two models reportedly in the making, the company could cover both people who want the basics and people who want more features.
