CMF, the budget brand that Nothing spun off, has released its first Bluetooth speakers. The lineup has two models, the Speaker S and the Speaker M. Both follow the playful design style CMF is known for. You get bold colors, a chunky knob on the front, and panels you can pop off and swap whenever you want a new look.
CMF Speaker S and M Features
The Speaker S is the smaller, lighter model, made for taking along on a walk to the park or a day at the beach. It uses a single 45mm driver with two passive radiators. That setup keeps the body compact while still giving you solid bass.

The Speaker M is larger and heavier, and it suits music at home. It has a dedicated woofer and a separate tweeter, so you get a fuller sound with clearer separation between lows and highs.

Both speakers come in white, dark gray, orange, and turquoise. Both also promise up to 18 hours of battery life and an IP68 rating, which protects them from dust and water.
New CMF speakers with swappable parts
What sets these speakers apart is how much you can change them. You can swap the front panel and the control knob for different colors or designs. CMF also plans to release files so you can 3D print your own versions.

The software adds more options. Both speakers support adaptive EQ tuning, an Ultra Bass mode, and four preset sound profiles through the Nothing X app. You can pair two matching units for true stereo sound. You can also sync several speakers using Auracast, including ones from other brands.
The Speaker S costs $59, and the Speaker M costs $109. Both are available today on Nothing’s website.
