Jimi Hendrix and Marshall amplifiers are practically inseparable in rock history. Sixty years after Hendrix first plugged into a Marshall amp back in 1966, the company is marking that legacy with a new addition to its latest gear collection.
Marshall has expanded its Jimi Hendrix 60th Anniversary Collection with three more limited-edition products: the Major V headphones, the Emberton III Bluetooth speaker, and the Studio JMH Half Stack. This follows the crushed purple velvet Acton III and the massive 1959 JMH Half Stack Marshall revealed earlier this year.
Marshall isn’t just slapping Hendrix’s name onto existing hardware either; the whole collection leans into a genuine “purple haze” aesthetic.
Black and purple swirl together in psychedelic, oil-on-water style patterns, silver detailing nods to Hendrix’s signature jewelry, and an all-seeing eye motif references his fascination with space and the concept of the third eye.
Purple Haze Hendrix Edition Emberton III
The Hendrix Edition Emberton III is probably the easiest entry point into this collection. That purple pattern runs across the silicone sleeve and grille, complete with purple LEDs and a silver all-seeing eye detail on the control button.
Marshall uses hand-dipped water-transfer printing for the sleeve, meaning the pattern shifts slightly from unit to unit, giving each speaker a genuinely unique finish.

Under the hood, though, the hardware stays consistent with the standard Emberton III. That means over 32 hours of battery life, IP67 dust and water resistance, True Stereophonic 360-degree sound, and Bluetooth LE Audio support, all for $179.99.
The Major V Hendrix Edition gets the same cosmic design treatment applied across the inner headband and earcups. Hardware remains largely unchanged too: 40mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, wireless charging, a customizable M-button, and a genuinely absurd 100-plus hours of battery life. Marshall currently prices it at $179.99.

The Studio JMH Half Stack Hendrix Edition is handmade at Marshall’s UK factory, pairing an all-valve Studio head with a 2×12 cabinet housing two Celestion V-Type speakers. This one’s clearly aimed at serious fans, provided they’re willing to pay for it. It runs $2,499.99 in the US, where Marshall currently lists it as coming soon.

The head switches between 20W and 5W output, letting players dial in classic plexi-era tones without needing an actual arena to use it in. As expected, it gets the full Hendrix treatment too, psychedelic purple and black panels, purple lighting, silver accents, and the signature all-seeing-eye badges throughout.
