NVIDIA used Gamescom 2026 to announce a big batch of GeForce NOW updates. Subscribers get more control over graphics settings, and the service is expanding onto a lot more hardware. On top of that, new games keep landing on day one, with no signs of slowing down.

GeForce NOW DLSS 4.5 Control Gives You Better Graphics in the Cloud

The biggest change for existing subscribers is real control over DLSS 4.5. Right now, Nvidia sets the rendering defaults on their end, and everyone gets the same experience. That’s about to change. Soon you’ll be able to adjust DLSS Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation, and Ray Reconstruction yourself, right inside the stream.

What does that mean in practice? If you’re chasing max visual quality in a ray-traced or path-traced game, you can push those settings as far as you want. But if you’re more into competitive play and want to hit 360 FPS with the lowest possible latency, you can tune things the other way and prioritize speed over looks.

GeForce NOW Hardware Support

Nvidia isn’t stopping there. The company is also putting GeForce NOW on more devices than ever. It already works natively on Steam Deck, and now Steam Machine and the Steam Controller are getting support later this year too.

Your living room setup benefits as well, since more Fire TV devices are joining the list, including the brand new Fire TV Stick 4K Select. And to make signing up easier, Fire TV owners will soon be able to buy a membership straight through their Amazon account, no extra steps needed.

Browser gamers get a win too: Firefox is now officially supported for streaming. GOG players get something handy as well: a single sign-on option that syncs your library and lets you launch games in one click instead of digging through menus.

As for games, Nvidia confirmed several day-one titles are heading to the service, including Control Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Star Wars Zero Company.

One thing Nvidia didn’t do is give exact dates for any of this. They said more specifics are coming in this week’s GFN Thursday blog post, so we’ll likely know the full timeline soon.
