Samsung just brought its Galaxy Book 6 series to the US market. The lineup has three options, which are the Galaxy Book 6, Book 6 Pro, and Book 6 Ultra.
All three run on Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 chips, known by their codename Panther Lake. These chips are built on Intel’s 18A process node, which is Intel’s most advanced manufacturing technology to date.

Each model in the lineup gets a slightly different variant of that chip, so performance levels vary depending on which one you pick.

The base model, the Galaxy Book 6, starts at $1,049.99. That puts it right next to Apple’s M4 MacBook Air, which starts at $999. The price difference is small enough that buyers will likely compare the two directly.
You can get the Galaxy Book 6 in either a 14-inch or 16-inch size, both using IPS panels. The 16-inch version gives you the option to add a touchscreen, though it’s not included by default.

On the connectivity side, the laptop covers the connection basics so well. You get Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and a wired Ethernet port, so staying connected in different environments won’t be an issue.
The Galaxy Book 6 Pro starts at $1,599.99, and for that price, you get the 14-inch model with an AMOLED touchscreen. If you need more screen space, you can step up to the 16-inch version instead.
The 14-inch model is worth noticing when it comes to portability. It measures just 11.6mm thick and weighs 1.23 kilograms, which puts it among the lightest laptops in this price range.
Both the 14-inch and 16-inch versions include a vapor chamber, which helps the system manage heat more effectively during longer or more demanding workloads.
Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra Specs and RTX graphics
The Galaxy Book 6 Ultra sits at the top of the range with a starting price of $2,449.99. It comes in one size only, a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x touchscreen with an anti-reflective coating.

At the high end, you can configure it with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage. There’s also an option to add an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU if you need dedicated graphics.
Both the Pro and Ultra models claim up to 30 hours of video playback, which is a good number for laptops in this class.
All three Samsung Galaxy Book 6 models go on sale in the US on March 11, 2026. If you reserve yours before then, Samsung throws in a $30 credit and up to $900 in trade-in credit, which can bring the actual cost down by a meaningful amount depending on the device you trade in.
