Samsung will likely announce new Galaxy A series phones soon after launching the Galaxy S26 flagship lineup. Leaks about the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have been increasing over the past few weeks. The newest leak shows what the more expensive model will look like.
Images of the Galaxy A57 in purple appeared in a TENAA regulatory filing. This gives us an early view of Samsung’s next mid-range phone. The overall design looks similar to last year’s Galaxy A56, but the new model appears thinner.

The listed specifications show the Galaxy A57 measures just 6.9mm thick and weighs 182 grams. The Galaxy A56 is thicker at 7.6mm and weighs 198 grams. Samsung has apparently cut down both the thickness and weight.

The images show no other exterior changes. The Galaxy A57 should still have a glass back, an aluminum frame, and three cameras on the rear. A different leak suggests Samsung made some improvements to the internal components.
Samsung Galaxy A57 release date and specs
Tipster Abhishek Yadav posted on X that the Galaxy A57 could include a 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone might run on Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The rear camera setup should feature three lenses: 50MP, 12MP, and 5MP. A 12MP front camera will handle selfies and video calls.
Samsung might add a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The phone could also include dual stereo speakers and an optical fingerprint scanner built into the display.
The Galaxy A57 should ship with Android 16 already installed. Samsung will likely release it in March alongside the Galaxy A37, though the company hasn’t made any official announcements yet.
