Hisense came into 2026 with a simple pitch that let your TV blend into your home, not take it over. The CanvasTV line is built around that idea. When you’re not watching anything, the screen switches to Art Mode and displays paintings or your own photos instead of going black.

The latest model, the S7SG series, just got its US release. It follows the original S7N and builds on what that line started.

What Hisense CanvasTV S7SG Stand Out?

The TV mounts flush into the wall with an ultra-slim bracket, which is what gives it that framed artwork appearance. The matte anti-glare panel helps too. Instead of the reflective glass you see on most TVs, the screen surface is closer to what you’d expect from an actual canvas print.

Beyond the looks, the display holds its own on specs. You get a QLED panel with 4K resolution, Dolby Vision IQ, and HDR10+ support. Screen sizes start at 50 inches and go up to 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches, so there’s an option for most room sizes.

Gamers get a few useful features as well, including VRR, ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Premium support. The whole thing runs on Google TV, so you get Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and other apps built right in, along with voice controls.

Hisense CanvasTV S7SG Other Features

The art library gives you over 1,000 paintings to choose from, so you’re not stuck cycling through the same handful of images. There’s also a built-in motion sensor that detects when someone walks into the room and triggers the display automatically. No need to manually switch it on.

On the hardware side, you get a 2.0.2 speaker system, four HDMI ports, one USB 3.0, and one USB 2.0.

Pricing hasn’t been confirmed yet, but expect to pay somewhere above $1,200. If that’s out of your budget, the previous model, the Hisense CanvasTV S7N, is still available and currently selling at a $350 discount.
