Right now, you can only buy the Google Pixel Buds 2a in two colors, and those are Iris and Hazel. But that might change soon. Google seems to be ready to add two new colors to its budget earbuds lineup, possibly within the next few weeks.
Android Headlines got what they say are official images of the new colors. The first option shows a white charging case with soft green earbuds and a matching green interior. The second option keeps the standard case design but adds bright pink accents and earbuds.

These new colors could give you more choices when shopping for affordable wireless earbuds. Though Google hasn’t announced a release date yet, but the leaked images suggest the launch is coming soon.
Google Pixel Buds 2a coming in Softer Green and Bright Pink Colors
The bright pink color looks a lot like the Peony finish on the Pixel 9a. Google hasn’t revealed the official names for these new Pixel Buds 2a colors yet, but they match up with two shades rumored for the Pixel 10a, the Fog and Berry.
Android Headlines previously called Fog a “soft off-white” color, but that description doesn’t seem accurate here. You can clearly see a subtle green tone in the images.

Both versions have a thin accent band that separates the lid from the body of the charging case. This detail gives the earbuds a nice visual touch. The bright pink version stands out the most because of how bold the color is.
Google Pixel Buds 2a Release Date
Everything else about these budget earbuds stays the same. The dimensions, specs, features, and $129 price tag match the original Pixel Buds 2a that was launched in August 2025.

So when can you buy these new colors? The report suggests Google will release them with the Pixel 10a smartphone. That phone could arrive in February or March, which makes sense as a time to introduce new color options for an existing product.
If you’ve been waiting for more color choices in affordable wireless earbuds, you might not have to wait much longer. Just keep in mind that only the colors are changing. The actual performance and features will be the same as what you get with the current Pixel Buds 2a.
