The CRKD ATOM+ tries to solve this. It’s a Bluetooth controller small enough to fit in your pocket, measuring just 90mm x 48mm, and it connects to a wide range of devices, including Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC, mobile, tablets, and select Smart TVs.

CRKD ATOM+ Controller Features
The size doesn’t mean you’re giving anything up. The ATOM+ packs in dual thumbsticks, triggers, a D-pad, and shoulder buttons. Everything you would expect from a standard controller is there.
It looks like something you would use for old-school side-scrollers, but that’s misleading. You can sit down with a modern device, and the layout holds up. Nothing feels absent.
The thumbsticks are the standout feature for me. They use TMR, known as Tunnel Magneto-Resistance, which ditches the physical contact found in traditional thumbsticks and relies on magnetic shifts instead. The result is better sensitivity and more precise input.

Because there’s no physical contact between components, stick drift isn’t something you will have to worry about. That alone puts it ahead of most thumbsticks at this price point.
On top of that, the ATOM+ includes motion controls, vibration feedback, and a rechargeable battery that charges over USB-C. Pair it with the CRKD Companion App, and you can remap buttons, adjust settings, and keep the firmware up to date.
