Amazfit announced the T-Rex Ultra 2, a rugged smartwatch built for outdoor use and adventure sports. The new model expands the T-Rex lineup with a bigger design, better materials, and more mapping features.
The T-Rex Ultra 2 has a 51mm case and a 1.5-inch AMOLED display. Sapphire glass protects the screen. The bezel and back use Grade 5 titanium. It’s rated at 10 ATM for water resistance, which means it can handle high-pressure water activities and diving.

Amazfit calls the T-Rex Ultra 2 one of its most durable smartwatches. It’s designed to handle harsh conditions without failing.
Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 Upgrades
Navigation is the main focus of the Ultra 2. The smartwatch includes full-color offline maps, route planning and import, turn-by-turn directions, and elevation data. You can load global maps directly onto the device and create routes up to 100km long without connecting to your phone.

The watch uses six satellite positioning systems for better accuracy and faster signal lock. It also includes a Checkpoint Display and Reminder feature.
You can mark waypoints like water sources, shelters, altitude targets, or turnaround points during long hikes or multi-day trips. Climb segmentation and terrain mapping show clearer details about upcoming climbs, so you know what to expect ahead.
Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 Battery Life
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points. Amazfit claims up to 30 days of typical smartwatch use on one charge and up to 50 hours of GPS tracking. These numbers make the Amazfit T-Rex Ultra 2 stand out when compared to premium devices like the Apple Watch Ultra 3, which requires more frequent charging.
